Dear Toni,
Presently, it is my belief that the two elements that one should be concerned are:
1. Water
Water signifies "difficulty" in the I-Ching. 
Usually water at the centre of the house would pose a problem.
2. Fire (real fire) as in a fire place is the second thing to take note of.
The second part is less of a concern than water but more study should be done on this area.
Other than that, having a linen cupboard is the lesser of the two `evils'. I believe that this is of less concern.
