Yes, it is prefered to have a water fountain at the frontage of the house. Usually, the water fountain should be low and this would represent clear space at the front. And a fountain can help to circulate `vibrant' Qi at the entrance.

In your case, you can still leave the fountain there but consider other water element e.g. in colour such as grey, black or blue.

In the Five Elements concept, water and fire are opposites. In addition, as you are a weak water person; and your girlfriend is Strong Fire, your water element may be reduced further.

You should help your weak water element with metal element e.g. gold, or colour white to help your weak water grow stronger. Once it is stronger, it can help to balance the Strong fire person. Else, your weak water will constantly be overwhelmed or consumed by `Fire'.

With your constant association with your girlfriend, your weak water would continuously need replenishment. You can hel p youself by increasing or using more `metal' element in your life.

Metal is the top element you can use. While you can add water to help your water element. But metal is still the better element.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
