I would like to clarify that under the Fun with Feng Shui; it implies to staircase leading up towards the second level ie. the bedrooms etc...

For a split level house; it should not apply as what we would like to have is to apply the concept of clear space in the living room and the steps leading up to the split-level i.e. dining is part of this feature.

Thus, in your case, there is certainly no need to use a partition. The partition or divider should be used if there is some adverse sha qi such as a toilet facing the main entrance.

Here, you have to understand the following:

1. If you are doing a Feng Shui audit to determine which is the main entrance door; then, it would be a main concern as to which door to use to analyse the birth chart of the house.

2. Usually, or predominently; the main entrance door should be considered your main entrance door.

3. Under the Eight House, one feature is to see how suitable the house is to the breadwinner. Other than that, you should not have an unduly concern over the main entrance door..

Many of us are frequently confused as to how to apply :

Flying Star Feng Shui with Ba Zi Feng Shui.

Do remember that we should:

Step 1:

Apply Flying Star Feng Shui.

For example, as you are trying to place a wind chime at the specific location to supress the imbalance at that specific location.

Step 2:

After the above has been supressed, you can then consider making the room in harmony with the ba zi i.e. element and strength e.g. weak water.

It is acceptable to use a wind chime to supress the bad 4.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
