Dear Julia,

Frankly, there is not much one can enhance in a small apartment.

Where possible, try to make it as `cosy' as possible depending on the one's needs.

Needs depend on:-

Whether the apartment is used as a `haven' to return to after busy work schedule or used partially for sleep and study. The major principle of Yin and Yang can be applied in the room. Such as making the room more Yin (for good night rest) or semi-yin and yang (for study/relaxation or sleep).

Realistically speaking, not much one can do here.

It is good to close the bathroom door when not in use. If there is the luxury of a side table; one can place a lamp on it to serve as a symbolic `partition'. But may not be possible in your case.

Again, really not much one can do here. It is best not to have the sharp corner(s) aimed particularly directly - especially at the head / neck area. But again, it is best not to let it be aimed at other parts of the body. - Not much choice thou.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
