Generally, the 1st practitioner you seek seems to be using Eight House Theory, where he only focus on the suitability of the Breadwinner (your husband) to the house itself.

There are actually 4 directions which the breadwinner can choose to have houses which still falls in the good direction. This is based solely on the Eight House theory.

You can make use of the free Eight House Theory report on the My FengShui website to find out which are the 4 good and 4 bad direction based on your Husband's Date of Birth.

The 2nd Practitioner seems to have used both the Eight House and Flying Star to analyse the house for you.

Here it is important to have:-

1. The house has to be rather suitable to your husband, meaning to say that so long as it falls into any of the 4 good sector of the breadwinner, that is fine. That means that the house will suit you.

2. The other issue about the Eight House is also to find a master bedroom which suits the breadwinner.

Next is to ensure that there are suitable bedrooms for all other family members staying in the house.

3. The other important factor after finding a house which is suitable is hopefully to find a suitable house with also a good combinations of starts in the main door.

Based on what you mentioned, it would seems that although you may have selected a suitable house to your husband, but you have not taken into account the flying star of the house when you first selected it.

As mentioned there are 4 suitable directions of the house and each direction there are 3 sub-sectors eg. SW there are SW1, SW2, SW3. A 45 degree divison.

So apparently the current house may be suitable to your husband, but the main door is NOT the best that you can get. This means that you will NOT get a great leap of improvement financial from this house, as compared to a house which is suitable to you can contain good flying star reading of the main door and the bedroom.

Based on the details you have provided, since there are star 2 & 5 and not knowing the other stars in that sector, Metal is the cure for the star 2 as they represent Strong Earth.

The most common and effective cure is to use the 6 coins tied with a red string, since you are in Singapore, another alternative is to put 6 $1 coin (which is bagua shaped if you noticed), onto a red packet paper and hang it above the door somewhere visible.

Simply to not activate the bad stars, you just have to avoid having that sector painted (yellow or any shades of yellow), plus to have strong amounts of earth related properties (eg. colour, shape etc).
