Dear Wasis,

1. The case of wet soil is akin to the article on underground water:-
https://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm

2. It is also similar to the situation faced by family members or the young of new owners of the Rivervale cresent condominium in Singapore. (A Search of Rivervale should be able to direct one to this article).

3. As for the hulu, often it is not in the form of a charm but rather the actual hulu or bottle gourd. (A Search for `bottle gourd' should also bring one to the article on hulu found on this website. This is where, like the 1970's show "Genie in the bottle" or I love Genie. it is like the hulu could `suck' in something e.g. sickness.)

In traditional Feng Shui, this is documented - for use. And not a modern invention. No harm (can try) perhaps with the hulu charm. But, do check how much you are suppose to be charged for it i.e. how comfortable are you paying for it. If it costs a bomb! than try to see if you can get physical hulu's or dried out hulu and hang it e.g. on the bed leg etc...

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
