Dear Donna,

Thanks for your detailed information about the various fountains.

Overall, when purchasing a fountain please take note of the following:-

1. Circular fountains are ideal. (Avoid purchasing any fountains with
pointed edges, rounded edges are the best).

2. Avoid placing any rocks that symbolises a creature or some unknown shape
resembling a person, an animal etc..

3. Avoid having an animal or fish or any other objects with their `mouth'
open facing the house. This will create problems for the breadwinner as a
hungry mouth symbolizes a need to feed it. This may bring illness or loss
of fortune to the household.

4. A fountain should not be `cluttered' with figurines and ideally, and has
a clean shape.

5. If you are placing the fountain outside the house, it can be placed
along the frontage of the house.

6. Bear in mind the Yin and Yang Theory i.e. have a balance between Yin and
Yang. Yin refers to anything soft e.g. the grass verge the garden area.
Yang refers to rocks or metal or anything that is hard.

Look for a balance in the exterior of the house and look at how asthetic
the fountain can blend to the house.

Most of all, feel free to select a fountain that both you and your family
and one that you personally like very much.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil

>What is most auspicious to look for in a fountain? Sidewalk and garden
area beside it in entrance area is actually a missing area of
house...Knowledge and spirituality bagua.
>I'm looking at lower fountains with soft sounding waterfall type
sounds/appearance.
>One has a lighthouse on tiered rocks. Lighthouse not my favorite but tiered
rocks very nice for water to run over.
>One is a large open tulip shaped bowl with a dragon (would be about waist
high).
>One is called woodland, with water to run over rocklike area with raccoon
sitting on top.
>All these are grayish cement colors.
>A very beautiful one is aqua in color. A large bowl on a pedestal with a
flower and a hummingbird above that. It is about 4-5 feet tall and seems a
bit overpowering for my area, even tho the color and the scene are lovely.
>I am adding round gray river rock in the area that will suggest a "Rock
Creek", at the end of which I will place the fountain/waterfall. What might
you suggest?
