Dear Catherine,

1. Overall, the concept of condominiums is considered by standards "pretty new".

2. The earliest adoption of pools in estates can be derived more from hotels. And in Singapore, this is only become popular (due to affluence) in the last 20 years.

3. Therefore, there are not much case studies to say for sure whether, the effects of a water position that you mentioned in a high rise may or may not lead to `roving eye'.

I.e. frankly, we cannot say for sure if this is going to happen (in majority of the cases). As no one has fully looked at this situation. And as we are all aware, as relationships are private nature, no one would be willing to share their experience on this subject.

4. In my opinion, I cannot therefore say for sure if it may lead to `roving eye' in a high rise apartment.

5. With regards to the placement of a Ba gua, it is usually meant for either deflecting sha qi (poison arrows) or some use it to protect against evil.

6. If you feel comfortable and if your bf does not mind, it is relatively acceptable to place a Ba Gua mirror facing outwards. But not facing inwards of the unit even if the water position is not seen in the unit.

7. As I mentioned earlier, there is not much information on the `roving eye' problem associated in a high rise. Thus, honestly, it may or may not be true. Let's hope not. Until such time where, there is more information in relation to this area.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
